The Warehouse at 206 S Jefferson Street was a Chicago nightclub from 1977 to 1983, widely credited as the birthplace of house music. The City of Chicago designated the building a Chicago Landmark on June 21, 2023. The original venue closed in 1983; the building remains as a historic-only site.
