Phone repair and wireless

Two walk-in repair shops sit inside the neighborhood — CPR on West Madison and Mobile Fix & Repair on West Washington — and both handle tablets, laptops, and game consoles as well as phones. For carrier stores, AT&T is on South Halsted and a Verizon authorized retailer on West Madison; the corporate T-Mobile and Verizon stores and the prepaid brands sit just past the boundary.

The nearest manufacturer-authorized counter is Geek Squad at the Best Buy on West Roosevelt, which Best Buy lists as an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

Where can I get cash on a weekend?

Nine branches keep verified Saturday lobby hours, every one closing by 2 PM — Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Fifth Third, and two Chase branches until 2 PM; Chase at Madison and Halsted, First Eagle, and Belmont Bank until 1 PM; BMO Greektown until noon. On Sunday every branch is closed, so it is ATMs only: Bank of America on Halsted, Wells Fargo on Randolph, and Chase at Madison and Halsted are the three that publish 24-hour access.
