West Loop Branch — Chicago Public Library

On Restaurant Row

The Chicago Public Library's West Loop Branch — the only library branch inside the neighborhood. It opened on January 17, 2019 as the system's 81st location and its first new service point since 2011, in a building designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill whose property and construction were donated by the developer Sterling Bay. Alongside the general collection it holds a recording booth, a YOUmedia center for teens with a maker lab, and dedicated children's and study areas.
