Chicago's first nonprofit literacy bookstore and learning center, opened in 2009 as part of the Open Books nonprofit at 651 W Lake Suite 100. The space features 50,000+ used and donated books across bright wooden shelves, reading nooks, and a dedicated children's section. All proceeds fund adult, family, and computer-literacy programs citywide.
