Studios of WCIU-TV (channel 26) at 26 N Halsted in Greektown, the flagship station of locally based Weigel Broadcasting, which was founded by John J. Weigel. WCIU first signed on February 6, 1964 as Chicago's first UHF station and remains family-owned. Sister stations WMEU-CD (channel 48) and MeTV/Heroes & Icons flagship WWME-CD (channel 23) also broadcast from the building; WCIU's transmitter sits atop Willis Tower.
