About

The Hoxton Chicago combines a restored 1929 brick commercial building with a 2019 addition. The hotel's own site lists 182 rooms "ranging from Snug through to Roomy," the ground-floor Mediterranean restaurant Cira, the rooftop Cabra Cevicheria from chef Stephanie Izard, the Lazy Bird cocktail bar, and the Working From_ co-working floors.

The Hoxton was an early signal of Fulton Market's hotel boom. Block Club Chicago covered its April 2019 debut as bringing 182 rooms and three restaurants to the corridor, along with more than 300 jobs. Boutique hotels including Soho House, Hyatt House, Hampton Inn, and Homewood Suites have since added several hundred rooms within walking distance.
