Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between reformer Pilates and Lagree?
- Reformer Pilates (Club Pilates, BODYBAR, Page One) works controlled movements on a classic reformer. Lagree and Megaformer formats (Solidcore, Studio Lagree, BODYROK's hybrid) run slower, higher-tension strength work on a Megaformer machine — closer to strength training than classical Pilates.
- What is the difference between Pure Barre and barre3?
- Both are barre-method studios. Pure Barre uses the traditional small-isometric-movements format; barre3 layers in fitness-conditioning sequences. barre3 is also the only studio in the set that offers childcare.
- Which West Loop Pilates studios have intro offers?
- Nearly all: Club Pilates, Pure Barre, and barre3 publish free first classes; BODYROK's first class is $20. Check each studio's site for the current offer.
