Contemporary art gallery and record label at 2156 W Fulton, ground floor. Founded in 2004 by John Corbett, an SAIC professor and artistic director of the Berlin JazzFest 2002, and Jim Dempsey, a 20-year house manager at the Gene Siskel Film Center. A member of the Art Dealers Association of America, the gallery operates its own record label, CvsD. Its roster includes Ellen Berkenblit, Brian Calvin, Arturo Herrera, Charline von Heyl, Dick Higgins, Rebecca Morris, Albert Oehlen, Joyce Pensato, Arlene Shechet, and Christopher Wool; the gallery represents Peter Brötzmann and the estate of Sun Ra.
